Yup. Radio Nowhere will be playing the world-famous Stork Club in sunny Oakland, CA at about 10pm on Wednesday, May 30th. Not only will this be an excellent opportunity to get together and party with your friends - which none of us do often enough, in my opinion - but this will be a full band show in which we will be BRINGING THE ROCK.
We’ll also be playing a bunch of songs that no one has ever heard before - not even my mom. I think this is going to be really, really fun, and I hope you can make it.
If you have any questions about the show, the set, parking, whatever, just email me:mike@radionowhere.net

I don’t have much to say about the record that isn’t covered (more skillfully) here, but I will say that I saw them play on campus at UC Davis in 1989, and the four of them had clearly ingested more alcohol than the 800 people in the audience combined. Paul Westerberg…
Do you like the Neil Finn? Especially the loose, saucy solo Neil Finn? If so, hang a Do Not Disturb sign on your door for the next hour and check this playlist out. A couple of very considerate show attendees (thanks andromedadropcloth and abermudes!) captured quality video and audio of Neil’s 4/5/11 show at the El Rey Theater in L.A. and then uploaded it all to YouTube – sweet!
All of it is good, but the first vid, a piano version of “Hole In The River”, from Crowded House’s 1986…
